New York High School Basketball - Mekeel Christian Academy ripped by Gloversville
January 20, 2024: Schenectady, NY 12302 The Gloversville Huskies/Dragons basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mekeel Christian Academy Lions to 20 in the Huskies/Dragons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies/Dragons now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnstown for a Section 2 Foothills match on Monday, January 22. Gloversville will face a Sir Bills team coming off a 61-7 league loss to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Sir Bills record now stands at 0-12.
With the defeat, Mekeel Christian Academy moves to 5-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Schenectady (Schenectady, NY) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 23. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 0-10. Schenectady lost 66-29 in their recent league match against Colonie Central (Albany, NY)
