New Mexico High School Basketball - Roswell knocked off by Rio Rancho
January 20, 2024: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 The Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Roswell Coyotes to 46 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Rio Rancho will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 9-7.
The Coyotes (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Artesia ran past Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 64-36, in a non-league contest.
