New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Rancho can't hold off Clovis

The Clovis Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Rio Rancho Rams to 52 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miyamura for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Clovis will battle a Patriots team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 2-9.

The Rams (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record.
