New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley nudges Capital
January 20, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506 Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 52-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pojoaque Valley upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Elks/Elkettes travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to clash with the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 75-38 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
