Louisiana High School Basketball - Cohen sneaks past Haynes Academy
January 20, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70115 The Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA) basketball edged the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 56-50 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Green Hornets now possess a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to King Charter for a 2A District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Cohen will play a Jaguar team coming off a 88-60 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Jaguar record now stands at 10-9.
With the loss, Haynes Academy falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The host L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 6-17.
