Louisiana High School Basketball - Mentorship Academy toppled by St. John
January 20, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 64-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. John advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Central Private (Baker, LA) to face the Redhawks in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Redhawks enter the match with a record of 14-9.
The Sharks now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kentwood for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Mentorship Academy will face a Kangaroos squad coming off a 73-26 non-league loss to Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Kangaroos record now stands at 0-15.
