February 10, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) and the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), observed Ascension Catholic's basketball team knock off St. John by a score of 68-54.
The Bulldogs (17-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 15-22 record. In their last challenge, Episcopal prevailed over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA), 65-60, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. St. John will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 20-12 record after their 45-43 non-league win over Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA).
