California High School Basketball - Napa toppled by Mt. Eden
January 20, 2025: Napa, CA 94558 Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Napa Grizzlies (Napa, CA), 58-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Eden advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Monarchs host Encinal (Alameda, CA) to face the Jets in a West Alameda County - Shoreline match on Friday, January 24. The Jets enter the match with a record of 7-8. Encinal lost 61-58 in their recent league match against San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA)
The Grizzlies now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonoma Valley for a Vine Valley match on Wednesday, January 22. Napa will face a Dragons squad coming off a 71-47 non-league win over Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 10-8.
