Georgia High School Basketball - Galloway holds off Jefferson
January 20, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30342 The Galloway Scots basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Dragons to 59 in the Scots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Scots now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Fellowship Christian for a A D1 Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. Galloway will confront a Paladins team coming off a 74-51 league loss to Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to confront the Spartans in a AAA Region 8 game on Friday, January 24. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 4-15. West Hall won 53-33 in their recent non-league game against East Jackson (Commerce, GA)
