Mississippi High School Basketball - West Jones victorious over Gulfport
January 20, 2025: Laurel, MS 39443 In Monday's non-league contest, the host West Jones Mustangs basketball team scored a good 52-37 triumph over the Gulfport Admirals.
The Mustangs (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Terry (Terry, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 3 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Terry topped Moss Point (Moss Point, MS), 41-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Admirals battle the Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) in a 7A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Gulfport will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 56-32 league loss to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS).
