The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY) and the visiting Summit Academy Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), observed John Jay's basketball team knock off Summit Academy by a score of 31-20.

The Wolves (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Tuskers come into the Section 1 Conference 2D challenge with a 4-3 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Inwood Academy Trailblazers (New York, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Summit Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 70-19 non-league win over Douglass Academy (New York, NY).
