Oregon High School Basketball - Neah-Kah-Nie thwarts Warrenton
January 20, 2025: Rockaway Beach, OR 97136 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR) and the visiting Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR), observed Neah-Kah-Nie's basketball team knock off Warrenton by a score of 49-29.
The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rainier (Rainier, OR). The Columbians come into the 3A Coastal Range challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Rainier was knocked off by Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR), 58-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Riverdale Mavericks (Portland, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Warrenton will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 49-23 league loss to Banks (Banks, OR).
