California High School Basketball - Sierra Canyon thwarts Grant

January 20, 2025: Van Nuys, CA 91401

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) and the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), observed Sierra Canyon's basketball team knock off Grant by a score of 52-40.

The Trailblazers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (La Canada, CA). The Golden Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 20-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis prevailed over Chaminade (West Hills, CA), 66-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers encounter the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Grant will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Parrots come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 57-50 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA).
