The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) and the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), observed St. Francis's basketball team knock off Grant by a score of 61-50.

The Golden Knights (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West (Torrance, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, West prevailed over Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA), 55-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers encounter the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Grant will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
