Louisiana High School Soccer - Live Oak knocks off Belaire
January 20, 2025: Watson, LA 70706 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) and the visiting Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Live Oak's soccer squad triumph over Belaire by a count of 8-0.
The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans enter the Division I District 5 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, East Ascension notched a victory over Walker (Walker, LA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bengals battle the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a Division III District 5 battle, on Friday, January 24. Belaire will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 7-0 league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
