The Orange Panthers basketball squad (Orange, CA), was nudged 56-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA)

With the victory, Saddleback advances its record to 7-15 on the year. The Roadrunners travel to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA) to battle the Vaqueros in a contest on Friday, January 23. The Vaqueros come into the contest with a record of 10-14. Rancho Alamitos won 53-50 in their recent league contest against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA)

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 24. Orange will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Chiefs come into the contest with a 11-11 record after their 53-43 league win over El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA).
