The Holy Redeemer Royals basketball team scored 78 points and held the host MMI Preparatory School to 39 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover Area for a Wyoming Valley 2 contest on Saturday, January 22. Holy Redeemer will battle a Hawkeyes team coming off a 52-40 non-league loss to Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 6-10.
