The Lyford Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and held the host IDEA College Prep Griffins to 32 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to IDEA Weslaco Pike for a 3A Region IV District 31 contest on Monday, January 24. Lyford will battle a team coming off a 79-17 league win over Vanguard Academy Beethoven (Edinburg, TX). The record now stands at 6-9.
The Griffins (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against IDEA North Mission (Mission, TX). The enter the 3A Region IV District 31 contest with a 14-8 record.
