Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) and the visiting Parma Redmen (Parma, OH), saw Normandy's basketball squad hold off Parma by a count of 56-51.

With the victory, Normandy upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Independence (Independence, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Independence won 59-43 in their recent league challenge against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH)

Next up, the Redmen play the Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Parma will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
