Illinois High School Basketball - Shepard holds off Reavis
January 21, 2022: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL) and the visiting Reavis Rams (Burbank, IL), saw Shepard's basketball squad hold off Reavis by a tally of 56-50.
With the victory, Shepard improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Astros host Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL) to confront the TBA in a South Suburban challenge on Monday, January 24. The TBA come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Thornton Fractional South won 62-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Brooks (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Rams confront the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Friday, January 28. Reavis will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 48-45 league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
