Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the visiting Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), saw Taylor's basketball squad hold off Anderson by a tally of 56-51.

With the victory, Taylor improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Inter-City Baptist lost 65-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI)

Next up, the Titans confront the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 48-29 league win over Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI).
