Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oden Timberwolves (Oden, AR), 48-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Blevins upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Hornets travel to Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR) to clash with the Lions in a 1A Region 7 bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Mount Ida lost 54-34 in their recent league bout against Ouachita (Donaldson, AR)

Next up, the Timberwolves clash with the Legacy Academy Warriors (Lockesburg, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Oden will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record.
