The Lakeside Rams basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting McGehee Owls to 48 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Bluff for a 5A South contest on Tuesday, January 25. Lakeside will battle a Zebras team coming off a 60-54 league win over White Hall (White Hall, AR). The Zebras record now stands at 2-3.

The Owls (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rison (Rison, AR). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region 8 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Rison triumphed over Harmony Grove (Camden, AR), 43-30, in a league contest.
