New Mexico High School Basketball - Roswell overwhelms Lovington
January 21, 2022: Lovington, NM 88260 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) and the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), saw Roswell's basketball squad wallop Lovington by a count of 36-15.
With the victory, Roswell upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to play the Eagles in a 5A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Hobbs won 57-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Artesia (Artesia, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Lovington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 32-13 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
