The Trinity Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Brentwood War Eagles to 46 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Fellowship Christian Academy for a GIAA AA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Trinity Christian will battle a Lancers team coming off a 63-59 non-league loss to North Florida Christian (Tallahassee, FL). The Lancers record now stands at 16-1.
The War Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Thomas Jefferson Academy was routed by Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA), 82-64, in a league contest.
