The Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), 73-62 in Saturday's league test.

The Bison (12-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights go into the AAAA Section 8 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, St. Michael-Albertville notched a victory over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN), 73-57, in a non-league test.

The Spuds now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Fergus Falls for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Moorhead will encounter a Otters squad coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Otters record now stands at 5-8.
