January 21, 2023: Carbon Hill, AL 35549 The Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), 58-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Curry (Jasper, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 5-18 record. In their last test, Curry got by West Blocton (West Blocton, AL), 72-67, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Winston County for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Cordova will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Addison (Addison, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-11.
