January 21, 2023: Cedar Vale, KS 67024 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sedan Devils (Sedan, KS) and the host Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans (Cedar Vale, KS), saw Sedan's basketball squad hold off Cedar Vale/Dexter by a tally of 31-30.
With the victory, Sedan improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Devils travel to West Elk (Howard, KS) to confront the Patriots in a South Central Border challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS) in a South Central Border challenge, on Friday, January 27. Cedar Vale/Dexter will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 65-60 non-league win over West Elk (Howard, KS).
