Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 73-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Todd County upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Winner (Winner, SD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Winner won 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against More (Rapid City, SD)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) in a A Region 6 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Crow Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
