Iowa High School Basketball - Don Bosco knocked off by Oelwein
January 21, 2023: Oelwein, IA 50662 The Oelwein Huskies basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Don Bosco Dons to 54 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dike-New Hartford for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, January 24. Oelwein will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 78-43 non-league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-9.
The Dons (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats enter the Iowa Star contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Riceville was outscored by Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA), 82-70, in a league contest.
