Illinois High School Basketball - Knoxville nudges Farmington
January 21, 2023: Farmington, IL 61531 Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), 41-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Knoxville upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Blue Bullets host Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL) to clash with the Flying Geese in a Lincoln Trail bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Flying Geese go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Wethersfield lost 62-36 in their recent league bout against Mercer County (Aledo, IL)
Next up, the Farmers clash with the Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL) in a Prairieland game, on Tuesday, January 24. Farmington will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 11-10 record after their 55-29 league loss to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL).
