The Upperman Bees basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Franklin Classical School Knights to 59 in the Bees non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bees now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tennessee Heat for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Upperman will meet a team coming off a 79-59 league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The record now stands at 19-11.
The Knights (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN). The Eagles enter the Tennessee State Independent contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Zion Christian Academy was outscored by Franklin Road Christian (Murfreesboro, TN), 71-37, in a league contest.
