In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a good 63-47 triumph over the Franklin Classical School Knights.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Giles County Bobcats (Pulaski, TN) in a 2A District 10 match, on Friday, February 10. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 17-7 record after their 65-64 league win over Summertown (Summertown, TN).

With the defeat, Franklin Classical School moves to 15-11 on the year.
