The Hazleton Area Cougars basketball team (Hazleton, PA), was overwhelmed 69-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA)

The Rams now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owen J. Roberts for a Pioneer - Liberty outing on Tuesday, January 24. Spring-Ford will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.
