Colorado High School Basketball - Horizon holds off Prairie View
January 21, 2023: Thornton, CO 80602 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the visiting Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off Prairie View by a tally of 56-50.
With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host Loveland (Loveland, CO) to confront the Red Wolves in a 6A Front Range challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Loveland lost 89-51 in their recent league contest against Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO)
The Thunderhawks (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO). The Sabercats come into the 6A Front Range contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Fossil Ridge edged Loveland (Loveland, CO), 89-51, in a league contest.
