Illinois High School Basketball - Latin tops Lisle
January 21, 2023: Lisle, IL 60532 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) and the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), saw Latin's basketball squad knock off Lisle by a tally of 62-48.
With the victory, Latin improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Romans host Morgan Park Academy (Chicago, IL) to play the Warriors in a Independent School challenge on Monday, January 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Morgan Park Academy lost 62-35 in their recent league challenge against Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Lions play the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Lisle will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL).
