Illinois High School Basketball - St. Edward knocked off by Latin
December 30, 2022: Chicago, IL 60610 The Latin Romans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting St. Edward Green Wave to 47 in the Romans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Romans now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Forest Academy for a Independent School contest on Friday, January 6. Latin will battle a Caxys team coming off a 40-34 non-league loss to Northridge (Niles, IL). The Caxys record now stands at 3-4.
The Green Wave (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Montini Catholic was defeated by Highland Park (Highland Park, IL), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
