New Jersey High School Basketball - Lawrence holds off Seneca
January 21, 2023: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ) and the visiting Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ), saw Lawrence's basketball squad hold off Seneca by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Lawrence improves its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Princeton (Princeton, NJ) to confront the Tigers in a Colonial Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Princeton lost 65-54 in their recent non-league challenge against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Seneca will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ).
