Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ), 45-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hopewell Valley Central upgrades its record to 10-11 on the campaign.

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Winslow Township Eagles (Atco, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 91-52 non-league loss to Eastside (Camden, NJ).
