New Jersey High School Basketball - Weehawken over McNair Academic
January 21, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) and the host McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), saw Weehawken's basketball squad overcome McNair Academic by a tally of 69-58.
With the victory, Weehawken improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Becton (East Rutherford, NJ) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ) in a Hudson County - National challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. McNair Academic will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Kardinals come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 59-41 non-league loss to Verona (Verona, NJ).
