February 9, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07302 In Thursday's non-league outing, the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ), by a margin of 68-31.
The Cougars (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Collegiate Academy (Newark, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Newark Collegiate Academy was trounced by Livingston (Livingston, NJ), 45-40, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Tide now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Kearny for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 11. Harrison will clash with a Kardinals squad coming off a 88-49 non-league loss to Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Kardinals record now stands at 12-10.
