Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony ripped by St. Joseph-Ogden
January 21, 2023: St. Joseph, IL 61873 The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs to 38 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a Illini Prairie contest on Tuesday, January 24. St. Joseph-Ogden will meet a Sabers team coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Sabers record now stands at 13-7.
The Bulldogs (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Brownstown/St. Elmo triumphed over Mulberry Grove (Mulberry Grove, IL), 88-49, in a league contest.
