December 29, 2022: Teutopolis, IL 62467 Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL), 50-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Teutopolis upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Wooden Shoes travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Griffins come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Lincoln-Way East won 65-31 in their recent non-league bout against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 30. St. Anthony will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.
