Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop McDevitt edges Wyomissing
January 21, 2023: Wyomissing, PA 19610 The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) basketball nipped the host Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), 48-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Middletown (Middletown, PA). The Blue Raiders go into the Mid-Penn - Capital test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Middletown got by Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA), 41-39, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Schuylkill Valley for a Berks County 3 test on Monday, January 23. Wyomissing will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 42-11 non-league win over Antietam (Reading, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
