The Detroit Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Rocori Spartans to 28 in the Lakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cloud Tech for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Detroit Lakes will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-34 league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.

The Spartans (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Sabres enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Sartell-St. Stephen triumphed over St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN), 57-45, in a league contest.
