Minnesota High School Basketball - Goodhue overwhelms La Crescent
January 21, 2023: Goodhue, MN 55027 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) and the visiting La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN), saw Goodhue's basketball squad wallop La Crescent by a tally of 76-33.
With the victory, Goodhue improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lourdes (Rochester, MN) to confront the Eagles in a AA Section 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.
Next up, the Lancers confront the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Monday, January 23. La Crescent will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN).
