Maine High School Basketball - Hodgdon overwhelms Madawaska
January 21, 2023: Madawaska, ME 04756 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) and the host Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), saw Hodgdon's basketball squad wallop Madawaska by a tally of 57-21.
With the victory, Hodgdon improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Southern Aroostook won 69-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME)
Next up, the Owls confront the Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) in a C North challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Madawaska will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME).
