West Virginia High School Basketball - Woodrow Wilson can't hold off Parkersburg

The Parkersburg Big Reds basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles to 51 in the Big Reds league victory on Saturday.

The Big Reds now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capital for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Parkersburg will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-40 league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 0-14.

The Flying Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots come into the Mountain State contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, George Washington edged Riverside (Belle, WV), 61-36, in a league contest.
