California High School Basketball - Placer nips Yuba City
January 21, 2023: Auburn, CA 95603 Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), 50-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Placer upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Hillmen travel to Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to play the Vikings in a bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Oakmont lost 62-22 in their recent non-league bout against El Camino (Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Honkers play the River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) in a bout, on Monday, January 23. Yuba City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 75-34 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
