California High School Basketball - Placer can't hold off Foothill

The Foothill Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Placer Hillmen to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Mine for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Foothill will battle a Diamondbacks team coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Natomas (Sacramento, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 2-4.

The Hillmen (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Mira Loma nudged Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA), 30-22, in a non-league contest.
